NARECHEM-ST ongoing Case/Control Study
- Selection of matched hospital controls by age and gender: For every child with leukemia/lymphoma, CNS-, liver-, renal-tumor, neuroblastoma or osteosarcoma - for variable time periods by cancer type- a suitable control is individually matched on age (± 6 months) and sex among those hospitalized for minor pediatric ailments at the same time as the corresponding case
- The guardians of all eligible children are informed of the registry/study objectives and sign the informed consent form before being interviewed in person using a structured electronically available questionnaire
- Conduct of specific epidemiological studies is decided upon reviewing a pertinent study protocol and depending of manpower available
